Race Management + Sports Timing

Atlantic Chip has event management & timing teams in Halifax, Fredericton, and Charlottetown but also times services races in the state of Maine, USA.

Atlantic Chip Sport Timing  was founded in Fredericton in 2003 by Mike Richard, who supplied the Atlantic region with much needed chip timing services for over 13 years. Mike Richard and a dedicated team changed events across the region for many years and without timing and registration services, many events simply would not have the success that they've had. In 2015, Troy Musseau, who was operating as a contractor of AC acquired the company and subsequently migrated it to Halifax,  where it was amalgamated with his own InnovaRace Sport Timing Inc. The company now operates as Atlantic Chip Sport Timing Inc. 

The event registration component of the company became instrumental in the initial growth/building of the registration platform known as Race Roster. Mike Richard and later Troy Musseau both worked as consultants with Race Roster to help develop the platform to become what it is today. Race Roster is by far one of the best online registration platforms in the endurance sporting industry. Much of the functionality and tools that are part of Race Roster’s core was born from the many hours of work with the Race Roster founding team. 

With a mighty team of talented road warriors (see below), Atlantic Chip continues to focus its efforts on supporting events in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Maine. Approximately 120 events annually, ranging from road-running , cross-country, trail-running, cycling, swimming, triathlon (multi-sport), and any other types of active sport.

Atlantic Chip has grown and expanded its scope of business to include event products such as medals, shirts, inflatable arches, banners, flags, signage, equipment rentals, and event management.  Click Here to view our products.
